The Incident and Its Aftermath
Yesterday, on February 14, 2026, my family and I were returning home when we were involved in an accident. It happened in the blink of an eye. The impact damaged my front bumper, wheel axis, and headlamps. Unfortunately, it also resulted in injuries to my hand and my daughter's head.
I rushed her to the hospital. She received stitches on her forehead due to a deep cut caused by the rearview mirror. The experience was traumatic for both of us, but I am grateful that we are safe.
Analyzing the Chart: What Dasa Caused This Incident?
Now, let's delve into the astrological analysis of the incident. I will explore the Vimsottari Dasa to understand the planetary influences at play during the time of the accident.
Vimsottari Dasa Overview
According to my Vimsottari Dasa, I was under the following periods:
Mercury Major Dasa (MD): March 26, 2023 - March 25, 2040
Ketu Antardasa (AD): August 25, 2025 - August 22, 2026
Rahu Pratyantar Dasa (PD): January 21, 2026 - March 15, 2026
Mercury Sukshma Dasa (SD): February 13, 2026 - February 20, 2026
Ketu Pratyantar Dasa (PAD): February 14, 2026 (10:32:13) - February 14, 2026 (21:02:40)
Detailed Dasa Analysis
During the Ketu Pratyantar Dasa, the following Deha-antardasas were active:
Ketu: February 14, 2026 (10:32:13) - February 14, 2026 (11:08:59)
Venus: February 14, 2026 (11:08:59) - February 14, 2026 (12:54:04)
Sun: February 14, 2026 (12:54:04) - February 14, 2026 (13:25:35)
Moon: February 14, 2026 (13:25:35) - February 14, 2026 (14:18:07)
Mars: February 14, 2026 (14:18:07) - February 14, 2026 (14:54:54)
Rahu: February 14, 2026 (14:54:54) - February 14, 2026 (16:29:28)
Jupiter: February 14, 2026 (16:29:28) - February 14, 2026 (17:53:32)
Saturn: February 14, 2026 (17:53:32) - February 14, 2026 (19:33:21)
Mercury: February 14, 2026 (19:33:21) - February 14, 2026 (21:02:40)
The Role of Maracas
For any accident to occur, Maracas must be involved, specifically the 2nd and 7th houses. For Simha Lagna individuals, Saturn, Rahu, and Mercury serve as Maracas since they govern the 2nd and 7th houses.
On the day of the accident, Rahu's Deha Antardasa was active. The incident occurred on February 14, 2026, between 14:20 PM and 16:29 PM. I crashed my car into a nearby object, causing damage to the vehicle and injuries to my daughter and me.
Gochara Analysis
Now, let's examine the Gochara. There is a Chatur Graha Kutami, where Rahu, Mercury, Sun, and Venus are transiting through the same sign. Rahu is particularly strong, being in its own sign and in conjunction with the Lagnesh Sun (Grahana) and Mercury (Maraca lord). Venus, the 3rd lord (related to travel and vehicles), and the 10th lord (Karma) are also present.
Rahu is in Sampath Tara.
Venus is in Sampath Tara.
Mercury is in Sampath Tara.
Sun is in Janma Tara.
Jupiter is transiting Gemini and has an aspect on Kumbha Rasi with a 9th house aspect. This aspect has provided us with protection, resulting in minimal damage.
However, Jupiter is in Vipat Tara, though the Dasa is not active. In the Antar Dasa, Ketu is in Naidhana Tara, with Mars in the 3rd house of the Natal chart. Ketu represents mistakes and headless actions. Indeed, it was a mistake on my part while driving.
Additionally, the Sun is in Sankranti Dosha at 1 degree and is transiting Dhanista star, whose lord is Mars. This is significant as Mars is my 4th and 9th lord and also represents Badhakesa.
Conclusion: A Lesson Learned
In conclusion, all has ended well by the grace of Guru. The experience was a wake-up call. I learned the importance of being cautious while driving.
